Our standard liberation analysis includes the following:
- Modal mineralogy of the sample
- Determination of stoichiometric mineral composition
- Association and degree of liberation of target minerals
- Particle size distribution of target minerals
In some cases this type of analysis alone provides sufficient information, but for many samples it acts as a stepping stone towards more detailed analyses into a particular aspect of the ore. In such cases, the raw dataset from the liberation analysis is used for further examinations of aspects of interest which makes it more economic than generating and analysing new samples.
